Academics
The Latino/a Studies Program currently compiles and advertises listings of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level which are offered each semester. For more information on courses and the newly approved undergraduate certificate in Latino/a Studies, see the appropriate links at left. The “Funding” link details opportunities for students and faculty research and conference support. We also co-sponsor a multitude of events, so contact us with your proposal. The Program encourages all students to take advantage of study abroad opportunities, whether summer, semester, or year-long programs such as Duke in Mexico; Duke in the Andes; and many more. (Summer programs on the US-Mexico Border and in Latin America are highlighted under the DukeEngage in the Student Life section.) Clicking on "Library" will connect you to incredible resources and librarians ready to assist you with your research. Visit the UNC-CH link to see the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill course offerings and programming related to Latino Studies.
